Laura Warren Ceramics

My passion for pottery began in earnest in 2014 when I began taking classes at a studio in Kenmore, Washington. I found that I loved what I was creating and what, in that creation, it did for me: I consciously and purposefully made time for myself and began to grow within a similarly minded and supportive community. Currently, I am based in Snohomish, Washington and decided to venture into the business of sharing my creations with others earlier this year. My pottery is simple with earthy influences and practical in its design. I incorporate gentle texturing and soft curving lines for my bowls and mugs to conform to your hands. I enjoy experimenting with glazes and I love to use simple colors or dynamic, cascading glaze combinations as it suits the piece. My cupboards are awash in warm inviting colors from my mugs, bowls and plates, no piece is quite like another, and it’s a joy to select the next piece for use.
