I started creating bead-woven jewelry 10 years ago. My primary medium is seed beads, mainly using the techniques known as peyote and herringbone stitches. I like to combine seed beads with other mediums: gemstones, sterling silver elements, and leather. I think outside the box and consistently craft original, one-of-a-kind works. I have recently started learning and using openwork techniques that were popular in traditional Russian bead weaving. My work has been exhibited at Shack Art Center in Everett, WA, and A/NT Gallery in Seattle, WA. I have also been a participating artist in the Shoreline Art Festival, PNA Winter Festival & Crafts Fair, Urban Craft Uprising, and Best of Northwest in 2017-2020.
